Lakeland Regional Medical Center

Lakeland Regional Medical Center is a hospital that is community based. I really enjoyed being able to research this employer and learn more about being a Registered Nurse at this facility. The particular job entry that I found had night time weekend hours with the options of picking up eight-hour shifts during the weekdays. I think that this was what interested me the most about the job and working for Lakeland Regional Medical Center. It would give me the opportunity to spend time with my family during the weekdays and even on the weekends. This would be a potential job for someone who wants to start a family or have time to spend with them. The downfall to this long nighttime schedule is that it might not be for everyone. This facility really emphasizes the importance of their RN's and their volunteers. The nursing mission statement from the Lakeland Regional Medical Center website is "Everything we do is inspired by our patients." I feel that it is important that they are holding their nurses to such a high standard. It makes you feel like you would be well taken care of at this facility along with your family and friends. They make it appoint to let each member or patient at the hospital know what is going on with them step by step and what each procedure entails. Overall, this would be a great employer for anyone who is looking to advance in the medical field and work hands on.
